9. Which personality test should you take?

Aug 21, 2020

EPISODE 9: Most of us creative types think we are special snowflakes and indeed we are. Every human is a unique combination of experiences, knowledge, skills, interests, environment, opportunities and upbringing. However, we are still a mix and match of a variety of standard factors, which makes it a little easier to categorise our creative personalities.
Think about the way humans look for example. We are a combination of eye colour, skin colour, hair colour, face shape, body type, height and so on. There are millions of combinations, but they are made up of a relatively small set of variables.

Even colours, in reality there are only 12 pure colours on the colour wheel and then every other colour is a tint or a tone or a combination of those 12 colours. Add black or white to tint or tone them, and you can mix them together. The result is a palette of millions of different colours, but they are all derived from that core palette and are mixed in subtle variants.

When we look at our own creative archetypes, it can be very difficult to pick our own starting archetype, as every one looks different when we view the end result. This is where personality tests come in.
